Delete Your Data
Last updated: July 2, 2026
You can delete some of your data while keeping your account, or delete everything at once. This page applies to the Metrics That Care: Caregiving Android app (package com.metricsthatcare.app, developed by Metrics That Care LLC) and the Metrics That Care web app.
Remove a person you care for
In the app, go to Settings → People You're Caring For and choose Delete next to the person's name. You'll be asked to confirm. This deletes their profile and the logs recorded for them.
Delete individual entries
The app doesn't yet have a button to delete a single log entry. If you want specific entries removed — a log, a day, a date range — email us (below) and we'll delete them from our database for you. Deleted entries no longer appear in new reports or exports.
A note about existing Wellness Summary PDFs
Wellness Summary reports are tamper-evident records: once generated, a report is never edited, so deleting an individual entry does not rewrite reports you generated earlier. New reports only include the data that exists when you generate them. Deleting your whole account deletes all of your reports, including the stored PDF files.
Request deletion by email
For anything you can't do in the app — or if you can't log in — email admin@metricsthatcare.com from the email address on your account and tell us what you want deleted (specific entries, a specific person, a date range, or everything). We complete verified requests within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Delete everything
To permanently delete your entire account and all associated data, see deleting your account. For what is retained after deletion (anonymized security audit records, backups until rotation), see the Privacy Policy.
